Japan Holidays
Japan has been a popular tourist location for quite a while, though its popularity has grown even further lately due to a number of factors – so it wouldn’t be surprising if you’ve been considering paying it a visit for a while. And you should know that Japan can offer you quite a lot to see and do – but it’s also a unique place that may feel strange and unwelcoming at first, but grows on you really quickly. Even if you’re not a Japanese culture enthusiast and know mostly nothing about it, chances are you may find yourself captivated by its majestic heritage as well as its modern features.
No holiday in Japan is complete without taking part in a traditional tea ceremony – or Sado, as it’s called in Japanese. Tea is a very special drink in Japanese culture, being considered very seriously and drank in complex rituals that involve a heavy degree of art. It is also used as a way of concentration (and to this end, meditation), and controlling your manners more efficiently. You don’t have to go through a tea ceremony school to take part in a ceremony at your hotel though (though these do exist, believe it or not), so do it whenever you have got a chance to do so.
Also, Tokyo may be the most interesting place in Japan, offering the most to see in general, but it’s not alone in this regard – there’s much more you could do on your Japanese holiday, and if you want to get the most out of this nation’s rich culture, make sure you do! Even if something in the Japanese culture seems odd and unnatural to you, give it a try – it is a vacation holiday, after all, so let yourself loose for a few days and enjoy everything Japan has to offer.
