Venezuela Holidays
Going on a holiday in Venezuela can be very rewarding if you love sightseeing, as this is what makes the country such a popular location among travelers. It offers an incredible number of things to see and do and places to explore, to better start packing heavy as you might want to stay for a while after you’ve arrived and gotten to experience this great location.
One of the most attractive locations for nature-loving tourists is the Nacional Henri Pittier park, which gives home to a large number of rare and exotic species of birds and other animals, making it the perfect place to snap those beautiful pictures, or just enjoy the serenity of nature.
You could also go for some deep-sea fishing around La Guaira, rich on blue and white marlin and sailfish.
The opportunities for a good fishing afternoon are excellent, and the environment is very friendly and relaxing as well. Plenty of people visit the La Guaira region for fishing purposes so don’t be surprised if you see a large crowd – though you should still be able to find a spot and remain uninterrupted.
Another interesting park to explore is the Nacional Cienagas del Catatumbo, which offers a number of unusual, almost unreal displays – if you catch it in the right time of the year, you’d get to see some very exciting lightning shows, so get your camera ready (though stay safe as well!).
If you prefer the mountains for a good vacation, you could go for a round of trekking in one of Venezuela’s numerous mountains, or take up some rock climbing at one of the country’s extremely high peaks – definitely not for the beginners among most of you though, as this can be quite the challenge for those who do not know what they are doing!
